Rumours abound as to where it is going - but with the Piper PA-32-300 Cherokee Six ZK-PDX parked nearby may indicate that it is bound for Parachute Adventures Queenstown at Jardines strip , south of Queenstown.
The Parachute Adventures Queenstown Ltd's Piper PA-32-300 Cherokee Six ZK-PDX (c/n 32-40352) on the tie down wire next to the Caravan N208RL at Christchurch this morning. PDX began its NZ career as ZK-DBC in 1970 with the Otago Aero Club.
Does anyone know if that has the garret turbine upgrade the same as ZK-KPH also operated by them
ReplyDeleteOh drat. I didn't take much notice - apart from the fact that it had a gaimungous exhaust pipe and had spread a layer of black along the side of the fuselage and on the starboard undercarriage leg.
ReplyDeleteSo would that be a yes !
It also has 4 blade prop by the looks
ReplyDeleteThe cowling does look very similar to the garret turbine version
