Cessna C208B Grand Caravan N280RL continued on to reach Timaru about lunch time yesterday for its NZ certification with AVTEK. Pic above taken at Christchurch shows "the other side" with its big exhaust, the all white cowling and the four bladed prop. So it this a recent conversion (without the fuselage cheat line extending to the nose ?

It has got a few days of certification ahead of it and then off to start para ops at
the Jardines strip just south of Queenstown. Apparently it’ll take the rego ZK-NZO
in the next few days.
Looks like it is a "950 Grand Caravan" or A "Supervan 900" in which the PT6 is replaced with a Honeywell (Garrett) TPE-331. Quite an unusual installation and looks quite different to a standard 208
