Mangaweka International Airport 21-12-2013

Next stop was the "Mangaweka International Airport" beside State Highway 1, where DC 3 ex ZK-APK has been tastefully repainted.

Even with the registration.  Inside the cafe there were photos of ZK-APK in a previous life, and a nicely done DVD showing its history on a screen.

It sure looks better now than when it was painted up with cookies.
