Question time # 192

I posted this pic a couple of weeks ago.

It has now become Question time # 192
I need an urgent correct reply as the chocolate fish for the winner is sitting here in front of me and is ever so tempting.
What is it ?
Where on this aircraft was it mounted ?
Then tell me what aircraft type/model it is on.
And to cap it all off - give me a likely ZK registration for this aircraft.

    I reckon it is a propellor for a wind driven generator. Theses were on British aircraft from the 1930s to the 1950s? I think it could be on a DH Dragonfly so choose the rego of one of those.

    Pretty close there Sir Minty.
    It is indeed a wind driven generator mounted on a DH product - but not a Dragonfly. In this case it is a DH84 Dragon.
