Christchurch International about lunchtime 15-12-2016.

During my quick pie chomp at lunch time today - 15-12-2016 - at Christchurch International I snapped these four flying machines.
The Piper PA-28-151 Cherokee Warrior ZK-DOT is c/n 28-7415180 and has been listed with Joseph Childs of Blenheim since September of 2010. It was delivered new from Airwork (NZ) Ltd to the Canterbury Aero Club in late May of 1974.
It migrated up to the Marlborough Aero Club at Omaka in September of 1984.
In the yawn yarn department was the ATR 72-212A ZK-MVN (c/n 1353).
Built under the French registration of F-WWEM it became ZK-MVN on 19-08-2016 and arrived at Christchurch on 24-08-2016.
Its first revenue flight was from Christchurch to Dunedin on the 30th.
Then we have the Bombardier DHC-8-311Q ZK-NEC2 (c/n 616) which was built as C-FEDG and ferried into Auckland and Nelson on 20-11-2005.
It become ZK-NEC on 23-11-2005 and did its first revenue flight from Nelson to Wellington on the 27th.
And if you wait long enough something interesting will pop up - and indeed here we have the
De Havilland Canada DHC-8-202 VH-LCL (c/n 492) popping out from behind the pine trees during take off on runway 20.
We have mentioned this one before HERE
