Piper Cherokee ZK-TGF

Way back on 10 February 1977 a PA 28-151 Cherokee Warrior (c/n 287715223) was registered as ZK-EBW  Over the years this aircraft has been re-registered an impressive seven times - ZK-MAI2,  ZK-ZEE,  ZK-CGD3,  ZK-RJM,  ZK-TGF and it is still current as ZK-DBW2.  I reckon this must be the record for the most number of registrations worn by one aircraft in New Zealand - can anyone provide more?.  Flyernzl has posted an excellent post on the aircraft's  interesting history at: http://nzcivair.blogspot.co.nz/2012/11/a-cherokee-of-many-colours.html  (except as ZK-DBW2 which occurred subsequently to the post).  ZK-DBW2 is photo'd below at Rangiora on 18/12/16.  The colours are a hangover from its time with the Coastguard as ZK-CGD3.

Of interest in the above rambling is the registration ZK-TGF (for North Shore owners TGF Aviation with the TGF standing for The Goat Factory), which was cancelled on 2/12/15.  It is photo'd below at Ashburton on 20/7/11.

Meanwhile back at The Goat Factory, TGF Aviation had purchased another flasher Cherokee, this time a PA 28R-210T Arrow III ZK-REC which they purchased on 24/8/15.  This is photo'd above at North Shore on 12.3/16.

Which brings us around the bushes to the latest ZK-TGF2, which was re-registered from ZK-REC on 14/4/16 and is photo'd below at North Shore yesterday, on 17/12/16.

Confused?  Blame it on the re-registration regulations!
