Most of the hangars at Te Kowhai are closed mid-week, but a couple opened up in the afternoon to reveal some interesting sport aircraft.
ZK-KAD2 (c/n 359A-415) was registered to Aero Australasia Ltd of Hamilton on 13/4/16. It was imported from Australia where it was registered on the microlight register as 24-5068.
Seen through a couple of Te Kowhai Bantams was Jodel D 18 ZK-JVG (c/n GM 05). It was first registered on 4/2/11 and was registered to KNB Potter of Papakura on 15/6/15.
Since being based at Te Kowhai it has acquired more trim and the name 'Crazy Horse".
And I was told that Stuart Parker's Poorboy Aviation PB-1 ZK-BEE2 (c/n 215) has now flown successfully.
