After our delicious meal at the Aero Club I was invited to see what was in a hangar adjacent to the aerodrome, and I was very surprised by some of the things that were there. Here are a couple of them:
Turbulent ZK-CJD was cancelled from the register on 12/12/11 but it has not died. It is awaiting a new engine installation.
And Steen Skybolt EI-SAT. This is the EAA award winning aircraft N52DH of Dean Hall, from 1978. It suffered damage at an airshow in Ireland when it hit a bird and damaged its port top wing with most of the top fabric peeling off.
