The Tiger Moth Rally spent time at Ashburton last weekend.

ZK-ALK c/n 3795 - a pre World War Two listing with the Western Federated Flying Club - served as NZ704 with the RNZAF and became ZK-ALK on 04-11-1946.
Currently with The Strome Farm Trust and wearing 'Joan Mary' on it rudder.
There must be a story here !

Bill Lamb's ZK-AON c/n DHNZ80 built for the RNZAF in 1941 as NZ830, becoming ZK-AON with the Marlborough Aero Club on 13-03-1947.
ZK-BAH c/n 83589 was built for the RAF by Morris Motors at Cowley in the UK in 1940. After a period on the UK civil register components of it were used in the build of ZK-BAH for Gary Toulson/Adastra Ltd in 1952.
It was listed with John Baynes from down Gore from March of 1990.
