There were quite a number of more local aircraft at Kaipara Flats on Sunday, to be part of the Tiger Club Vintage Rally coming through. I counted 23 visiting aircraft and one visiting helicopter in total, and here are some of them:
Rex De Bettencor was flying in the rally in his now taildragger Glastar ZK-CDP2
Barbara Thomson was there in her Searey ZK-SWM. This aircraft frequently flies off the estuary at Sandspit.
Gordon Lindsay heads for home in his Starlet ZK-YGL, over the vintage top wing of Robert McNair's magnificent Moth.

Along with Peter McVinnie's taildragger Glastar ZK-OPM.

A regatta of Seareys taxies for take off (with apologies to swans).
And an ambush of Tigers prepare for take off.
