Today the Otago Aero Club hosted the 2020 Taieri Wings & Wheels at the airfield and due to the amazing weather it attracted a large number of interesting aircraft.
Stars amongst these were a couple of locally based Piper J/3C-65 Cubs being ZK-AHE which has been in NZ since 1939
And ZK-FRN which was imported from the USA back in 1988
From Alexandra came the Circa Productions Nieuport 11 replica ZK-NVK which was registered back in 2015
Also from Balclutha was Rans S6ES ZK-MSS in a new yellow colour scheme
And locally based Helicopters Otago had 7 helicopters involved of which Bell 206B ZK-IWM hasnt featured on this blog before. It was imported from Japan in 2009.
