As could be expected there was a flurry of flying around the country today, as the Level 3 COVID restrictions came off. Tim Gorman was at Paraparaumu which seemed to be quite busy and he photo'd the first flight of the new to New Zealand Piper PA 28-181 Archer II ZK-MWM2:
ZK-MWM2 (c/n 28-7890321) is a 1978 model ex N3660M and it looks to be in great condition. It was registered to N W Morris of Plimmerton on 1/10/19. Thanks to Tim Gorman for the photo.
The first ZK-MWM was Merv Meredith's EAA Acrosport 1 which featured similar colours, but sort of inverted. It was cancelled from the New Zealand register in June 2001.
