LMA Cub ZK-OHS at NSAC/NMC Flyin North Shore

Another Light Miniature Aircraft LM-5X-W full size Cub replica flew in to the North Shore Aero Club/ Northern Microlight Club flyin at North Shore airfield today. ZK-OHS is owned by Paul Morrison of Wellsford. This is the second LM-5X-W aircraft in new Zealand.
For the other, ZK-CVB, see http://nzcivair.blogspot.co.nz/2010/01/is-it-cub-is-it-cuby.html

There is an interesting story behind this aircraft. Paul Morrison explained to me that ZK-OHS was built by students of Otamatea High School at Maungatoroto. But there is more to come because Paul and Otamatea High School have formed the Otamatea Aviation Academy and in 2012 they will be constructing a new building at the school and will be building a new design Cub replica. Paul is seeking additional funding for this exciting new venture that has the potentail to promote aviation to a whole new generation, which is a great opportunity. Have a look at their website at
