Up the Valley.

CMM headed up the Valley from Wanaka on Monday the 1st to the Aspiring Helicopters facility and scored these pics.
The Hughes 369E ZK-HJS2 (c/n 0198E) was imported from Japan in late 1998 joining Canterbury Helicopters Ltd at Wanaka in April of 1999.
It joined Aspiring Helicopters Ltd on 01-06-2000 with a move over to queenstown in October 2004 to Heli-Works Queenstown Helicopters but returned to Aspiring Helicopters from January 2008.

Aspiring Helicopters Ltd's Eurocopter AS 350 B2 ZK-HAH4 (c/n 4734) has been with the Company since new back in mid 2009 when it had initially been registered as ZK-HQI4.
It registration was changed to ZK-HAHon 19-08-2009 to reflect the Company name.

Also by chance the Robinson R44 Raven II ZK-IMV2 (c/n 11972) was noted.
This Robbie 44 was originally marked up as ZK-HLD and then tried to become ZK-HPO but on the day of its first NZ CofA on 06-12-2007 it was listed as ZK-HGI with Skysales (NZ) Ltd at Christchurch.
To add to the interest it was re-registered as ZK-HDJ4 the following day.
It was re-registered yet again by Skysales on 20-02-2008 as ZK-IMV2 for onward sale to Aspiring Helicopters Ltd the following day to replace the previous ZK-IMV1. which Aspiring Helicopters had operated from new in May of 2005.
It was transferred to its current operator Cattle Flat Station in the Matukituki Valley from 15-06-2019.
