Amongst the mass of Tauranga visitors to Pauanui airfield today was the Kaitaia based 1981 model Piper PA28-181 Archer II ZK-UPS. Originally VH-BVN in Australia this flew across the Tasman arriving at Kerikeri on 20 May 2018, and continued to fly as VH until adopting its NZ registration, ZK-UPS, in May 2019.
