Tim Gorman was out and about in the Manawatu a couple of days ago and at the Palmerston North Hospital helipad he photo'd the local rescue helicopter arriving and then quickly leaving on another assignment:
ZK-HHJ3 is a Kawasaki BK 117 B-2 (c/n 1109) that was first registered in New Zealand on 30/11/18. It is registered to Search and Rescue Services Ltd of Taupo who provide helicopter rescue services based at Hamilton, Tauranga, Taupo and Palmerston North for the Philips Search and Rescue Trust. ZK-HHJ3 has not been posted on the blog previously.

ZK-HHJ is just filling in for our regular rescue chopper ZK-IPT which is on maintenance, should be back soon.
