After leaving Ardmore I headed back North with a stop at Dairy Flat for one of their yummy pies (steak and oyster, but the prices have gone up), then on to North Shore to eat said pie with a cuppa on the balcony of the North Shore Aero Club, which is a great posse to photograph planes coming and going. An interesting arrival was the locally based Vans RV 8 ZK-SST which appeared overhead for a standard rejoin and approach.
