At Last! Tiger Moths from the Tiger Club Flyin at Taumarunui

The competitions for the Tiger Club flyin had finished by the time I arrived just after 3 but later they put up a nine ship formation of mostly Tiger Moths.  Here they are in order that they took off:

ZK-BAH from Southland

ZK-BER from Blenhiem

ZK-BEF from Wanganui

I guess that Piper Cub ZK-BKW was flying as an honorary Tiger Moth!  It comes from Ardmore.

ZK-ALK from Ardmore

ZK-BFF from Tauranga

The Grand Dame of the Tiger Club, Jan White's Gipsy Moth ZK-ADT from Hastings

ZK-BMY also from Hastings

And the final Tiger Moth in the formation was ZK-BLI from Ardmore.

There were three other Tiger Moth's at Taumarunui on Saturday:

ZK-BAL from Gisborne

And ZK-ATM2 from Kaipara Flats.

That made nine Tigers and the tenth one was ZK-AUD from Ardmore that left before I arrived.

I hadn't been to a Tiger Club flyin before but some old timers 2022 was reckoned to be one of the best.  Certainly the dinner and prize giving showed that the club is in good heart.
