Cessna 185B ZK-CFI at Kaipara Flats Today 9-9-2022

 It was a lovely day in the North today and it bought a spectacular visitor the Kaipara Flats airfield:

Cessna 185B ZK-CFI was listed to W J N Steel of Turangi on 8/7/20, and is based on a farm strip at Kuratau.  It left in the early afternoon and looked and sounded the part.  I remember it as a topdresser for Rural Aviation based at Palmerston North back in the sixties.

And that is a nicely mown airstrip!
