Jodel D.11 ZK-DYB has a new owner.

After all these years - Graham French has sold his Jodel D.11 ZK-DBY (c/n AACA/181).
It was registered to Graham at Tauranga on 16-12-1977.
I noted it at Hawera on 02-09-79.
Then at Pudding Hill on 25-01-81.

Above: at the Rangiora fly in on 19-02-93.

Three recent shots of ZK-DBY.
Above at Tauranga on 18-06-2013.
Below at its new home at Paraparaumu.
Both shots from Tony Quayle.
Below a view of Tony flying at Tauranga taken by Adele Hickford on 18-07-2013.
Not the added airbrakes on the lower fuselage between the undercarriage legs.
After a satisfactory test flight - a pre purchase inspection was carried out by Colin Alexander on 08-07-2013 and the sale was clinched on the 9th with the paper work dealt with on the 15th.
Also on the 15th, Tony did his type rating with Phil Hooker.
With  the sale of DYB to Tony - Graham is left with his Zenith CH200 T/D ZK-FRV2 and the Asso V project.

  1. Great machine went for a fly with Graham last century it was a hoot hence my choice of plane when I bought one

I did 300 hours in two and a half years in mine..

The airbrakes good for mountain flying cruise power and just come down like an elevator.

Thanks for the ride all those years ago
