Destroyed

 
Cessna 207A Stationair 8 II ZK-LAW (c/n 20700723) was destroyed in an accident in the Von Valley on Mount Nicholas Station on Friday 2nd August 2013.
Both pilots are reported to be in a serious condition.

This Cessna 207A first appeared on the US register as N9750M with Cessna Aircraft at Wichita, Kansas in September 1981.
From July of 1982 is spent just over two years with W L West at Wilsonville, Oregon.
It showed up at Christchurch on 24-10-1984 and became ZK-LAW on 12-11-1984 with Ashburton Aviation Services Ltd and transferred over to Alpine Aviation Tours Ltd of Rangiora on 12-03-1985.

 By 22-08-1986 it was registered to Fiordland Experience Group Ltd of Te Anau who traded as Air Fiordland.
The remainder of its career was spent in the Southern Lakes area - working with names like Fiordland Travel Ltd from 28-08-1987.

In early July of 1993 it transferred to The Mount Cook Group Ltd and is seen below at NZQN on 23-03-1995.
Next listed owner was Tourism Holdings Ltd from late June of 1998 followed by Real Journeys/Milford Sound Flightseeing Ltd in September of 2002.
From 24-06-2004 it was listed to Milford Sound Scenic Flights Ltd and then to Milford Sounds Flights Ltd from 29-09-2009.
It had a no damage forced landing near Lake Hayes following engine failure on 24-10-2011.
