The boys out to play

Mid afternoon at Rangiora today 07-07-2012 saw these three out playing about.
Above is the NZAI CT/4B Airtrainer ZK-JMF (c/n 086) of Richard Lane. This one first flew at Hamilton on 28-10-1976 as NZ1938 for the RNZAF. It went to Aeromotive on 14-09-2000 and then to the Massey University School of Aviation in January of 2001 as an aerobatic trainer. It returned to Aeromotive in March of 2003 and then down to Richard Lane from 22-09-2003.

 Arnold Gallagher's Vans RV-4 ZK-RVI (c/n 800) brushed off its cob webs.
And Phil Meredith (+ one) was out in the Jurca MJ-5 Sirocco ZK-FNQ (AACA/601). Originally a Wylie Evans creation, it first flew on 05-07-1991. Phil acquired it in August of 2007.
