The Northern Aviators Club held a BBQ at Kaipara Flats yesterday ahead of their AGM. The weather was spectacular and a few members flew their aircraft in:
David Signal came up from North Shore in his new Foxbat A 22LS ZK-SGI
Greg Dawson-Sheehan and John Issott also flew up from North Shore in Greg's Vixxen A 32
ZK-VXNAlan Nelson flew in from his home strip South of Te Kopuru in his Bristel NG 5 ZK-NGB
Alan's previous aircraft, Tecnam P 92 Echo
ZK-KFP dropped in on a cross country from Whangarei
And on the lighter/heavier side the local modellers club were also flying some of their aircraft including Larry Phillips' nice looking ME 262 "Yellow 9"
