Ardmore on 27-5-2021 - Pioneer Aero

I had not managed to make it down to Ardmore for quite some time so I was looking forward to spending an afternoon there on a lovely day last Thursday.  I was not disappointed.

Pride of place at Pioneer Aero was P 40E Kittyhawk 41-13570 (with a c/n also of 41-13570), which was registered as ZK-MOM on 14/5/21.  

Paul McSweeny of Pioneer Aero told me that it has had the motor running but that has not flown yet.  It is for an Italian owner but may be staying in New Zealand for some time due to shipping problems.
