A wee snippet from Omaka today, 04-03-2019.
Capturing the moment when Jay McIntyre lit up ZK-RFR for the first time since its unfortunate ground-loop incident at the Classic Fighters Airshow in 2015.
Within seconds it was immersed in clouds of smoke as you may have seen from the clip on the Classic Wings Facebook page.
The engine was run in total, I think, eight times today.
All going well it will return to the public eye in time for the Yealands' Classic Fighters Airshow this coming Easter.
