Cessna's at Wellington 28/10

Every so often a few unusual visitors pop in to visit us in Wellington. One I have seen previously but the other two are new to me.


First up Cessna R172K Hawk XP, ZK-ELO (C/N R1722925). Not much info on this aircraft so if anyone has any extra details please let me know.

Next is Cessna R182 Skylane RGII, ZK-ETX  (C/N R18201718) arriving from Ardmore.

Finally Pelorus Air's vintage Cessna 172 ZG-MGR (C/N 28108) almost snuck past me!

    Cessna R172K Hawk XP II ZK-ELO/2 is a 1979 airframe that came into NZ from the USA in 1983 through John Shivas.
    It was registered as ZK-EZF to a private owner in Collingwood and then moved around a few more owners before becoming ZK-LES/2 in Dunedin in 2005.
    Moving north to the Wairarapa in 2007 it eventually passed into the hands of Feilding-based owner T A Hobson who changed it to ZK-ELO/2 in 2013.
