Brendon Deere had his TBM-3E Avenger ZK-TBE2 painted as NZ2518 at Matamata. This was the first time I had seen this aircraft up close and it sure is big! Also, Matamata offers really nice opportunities for photos, so I took quite a few.
Taxying. From this side you can just see the name "Plonky"on the forward fuselage.

Pilot Jim Rankin is good to go.
Take off.
Nice passes - showing the top side.
and underneath with the bomb doors open.
Then in for a landing.
