Actually I did pop down the motorway to the Auckland Gliding Club's field at Drury where not much was happening.
Pawnee ZK-CEB towed the Club's 2 seater PZL Swidnik PW-6U ZK-GXY for a local release.
The Tasman Trust's Nimbus 3D ZK-GYB was out of its trailer and ready to go.
ZK-CEB has 260 HP and a 4 bladed prop.
The 75 foot wingspan is impressive!
