From Russell Brodie of Rangitata Island comes this photograph of Cessna 172A ZK-BWZ (c/n 47505) taken at Timaru yesterday (03-08-2012), bringing back early memories.
Russell noted "this old South Canterbury Aero Club aircraft was back home at Timaru today (Friday 03-08-2012). My earliest aviation experiences as a pax in this old girl ( mostly before I can remember with my Mum, Dad or club CFI and old family friend Jack Mehlhopt flying )".
Old ZK-BWZ has been mentioned before in these pages : See:-
