A coule from Rangiora today (24-08-2012)

Arriving at Rangiora today was the ever faithful Cessna 180 A ZK-BUF (c/n 32935), based locally with Gary Hood. I seem to recall her in the bad old days as the "Slipper Clipper"
Although this Corby CJ-1 Starlet has featured before - I could not resist another blog shot of her.
ZK-MGM is c/n 152.

    BUF's original livery from the Wichita production line was polished silver, with red and black highlights ..stunning!
    Each one has it's own soul for want of a better word and BUF was always a stunning machine right from the word go the moment she first arrived at the Akld Aero Club
