The inaugural Barrier Air Auckland-Whitianga service commenced this morning with flight GB401 operated by their latest Cessna 208B Grand Caravan ZK-SDE. This left AKL at 7.30am and arrived just after 8.00am to the traditional welcome from the local fire brigade.
SDE was originally imported from the US in 2019 for Milford Sound Scenic Flights as ZK-MCS, being acquired and reregistered by Barrier Air in August 2021.
