A Windy Wellington Afternoon

A good way to spend a few hours in windy Wellington is to head down to the airport with a camera! The southerly was making life just a little interesting for the drivers! The Aero Club had a number of their aircraft out doing circuits so if you messed up the first time you got to try again!

  1. Nice photos Minicooper, especially the one of the Nanchang.

  2. But are you sure it was a Northerly?

  3. Good to see that Tomahawk WAC.
In a previously life it was WAH, on-line with the Waitemata Aero Club.
As such, I did most of my PPL in her.
The nicest PA38 of their fleet.

  4. Interesting to see that VGF is operating just one day after it's engine failure out of YBCG!
