ZK-EMP has flown.

Ross Marfell was on site at Rangiora last Sunday (10-11-2013) to capture the first flight of Bernie Johnston's Acrolite 1C ZK-EMP (c/n 126).

Above we see Bernie having a final briefing with test pilot "Iceman".

 Engine start.

 Above is the first lift off.

And below is the first landing.

"Iceman" is the name given to Easwaran Krishnaswami who is a senior instructor with the Canterbury Recreational Aero Club (CRAC).
