The skies over mid Canterbury's Ashburton Airfield these past few days have been abuzz with a large number of mostly Sport Aircraft Association (SAA) style aircraft with a nice variety of "metal" factory constructed variants as well.

good to click on these photos, as the background of some can be as entertaining as the subject aircraft. it's amazing what i missed walking around for two days(to much talking perhaps)good to see zk-jrt in here, surprised anyone took a photo of her, hardly the most photogenic machine on the field, still she earns her keep up in the high country, won't be parting with her anytime soon.
