Ashburton visitors.

Bill and Neroli Henwood came all the way from north of Hamilton to Ashburton in their aircraft for last weekends SAA flyin. 

 

Above is their Piper PA-18-100 ZK-BQV (c/n 18-5546). This Cub started its career with the Central Hawkes Bay Aero Club in mid 1957. Many owners later it joined the Henwoods

Below is the DHC-1 Chhipmunk ZK-UAS (c/n C1-0633) of Chipmunk 27 Ltd. This ex RAF aircraft came to NZ for Jim Lawson in 1994 and still carries the name "Godfather".
