East Coast Twins

The recent trip through the Hawkes Bay was a good opportunity to photograph a handful of resident twins – two who see regular action and the other two who haven’t had wind under their wings for many a long year!

NZ Aerial Mapping Aero Commander 690A ZK-PVB at its Hastings base 11/10/12.  It has been recently employed on calibration duties on behalf of the NZ Airways Corporation.  It also spent a few months during winter on photographic operations out of Suva, Fiji.
NZ Aerial Mapping Aero Commander 680F ZK-CDK at Hastings 11/10/12.
Long time Hastings resident, Air Chathams Beech  65-B80 ZK-CIA.  It was struck off the register  six years ago.
Cessna 421C Golden Eagle ZK-WLG was once a regular sight around NZ skies but I'm not sure when she last flew.  It has been with Napier's Flight Care Ltd since July 2008.
