Well, that didn't prove too difficult for Planecrazy4 who correctly identified the cowling as being of Martin Farrand's Fisher Dakota Hawk ZK-SOL. It has been re-engined with a Rotax 912 but I don't know if the various bumps in the cowling were for the Rotax or the original Subaru engine. It flies very nicely and in the Question Time photo you can see the large glasshouses near to Kaipara Flats airfield.
And here it is, just after I had taken the photo and Martin had dropped me back at Kaipara Flats airfield.
