After being at Ohakea for the arrival of the RNZAF's new Poseidon yesterday, Jordan Elvy and Simon Hills travelled back through Feilding where they photo'd a couple of interesting aircraft:
Another of the late Michael Wilkins' collection from Matamata is the unregistered Teenie Two which is marked
(ZK-) MSW. It has been purchased by Peter Flintoff of Feilding who intends to get it flying, which will be great. I have previously posted on this aircraft and its history way back in 2009, along with other Teenie Little Metal Aircraft,
HEREAnd another seldom photographed aircraft was the Cirrus SR 22
ZK-WIJ (c/n 0004 - that's a pretty early example) which has been owned by IWJ Ltd of Otaki since 20/3/09. It is based at the Otaki airstrip.
