Activity increased this weekend at Pauanui airfield and a couple of departure shots were the Tauranga based Autogyro MTOSport ZK-FTB2 which was imported from Canada in 2020.
And the 1979 model Piper Seneca II ZK-JDH which was imported from Australia in 1994, and changed ownership to Kumeu based Tasman Pacific Aviation in November 2020. It is noted to have "Patrol" painted under its left wing.
JDH was used for patrolling the Southern Cross cable, no fishing and anchoring zones up until early 2019. It had CABLE PATROL painted under the wings.
