The Tokoroa Aero Club held a fly in at the Tokoroa airfield today and while blustery conditions limited the number of fly in attendees there was still a lot of interest. The star was Murray Belfield's locally based Pazmany PL9 / 3/4 scale Fiesler Storch replica ZK-MWB which first flew this month and so far has 3 hours flying time.
Visiting from Mercer was the former South African Ibis Magic GS700 which was registered in New Zealand back in November 2018.
And acquired by a Putaruru owner in January 2020 was Jodel 11 ZK-ERT which is now on rebuild complete with giant tyres. This was first registered back in July 1981.
