AACA Historical - Jodel D 9 ZK-KMM


Inspired by Allan Wooller's photos, I thought I would post one of my own.

Keith Morris's Jodel D 9 ZK-KMM during a test flight over Foxton Beach in early 1984, flown by Stuart Tantrum.

    Nice Photo Keith .Note you were able to incorporate some mod.s. .Probably a unique D9 in NZ .

    Yes Allan. I reckon it is a D 9 and a half - cockpit 2 inches wider and 2 inches deeper, turtledeck 4 inches higher (so the pilot fits inside) and the rudder 6 inches taller and a Taylor Mono undercarriage. All mods were approved by CAA.
