Arriving at AKL International on 31 March was the Texel Air Boeing 737-33A A9C-APC signaling the commencement of NZ operations by the Bahrain based cargo airline. Originally built in 1998 for Air Malta this 737 joined the Air New Zealand fleet in 2008 as ZK-NGP remaining in service until 2014 when it was sold to the US, and it then moved onto Texel Air in 2015. It now carries the name 'Samantha'.
Texel Air NZ is due to receive a Boeing 737-800BCF freighter in May.
