Nice to see the Cessna 180 ZK-BDE (c/n 30459) out in the sunshine today.
The lovely little Chilton DW1 ZK-CHT2 (pending) has moved hangars whilst its engine cowing is being formed.
Work has begun on preparing the James Herlihy Zenith CH701 STOL SP ZK-DBC3 for assembly.
This aircraft first
appeared on the US register as N510DM on October of 2005 with David
Allerheiligen and Michael J Burns out of Fort Collins, Colorado with ownership
going solely to Mike Burns in January 2013.
This Rotax 914 turbocharge powered
aircraft is being NZ certified at Rangiora by STOL Performance NZ for James
Herlihy of Patearoa.
