he Bell B296B JetRanger II ZK-HQR (c/n 1644) had a date of manufacture of 18-04-1975 and began its career in the Philippines that same month as RP-C1941 with the National Irrigation Administration in Manila.
Motor Holdings (air Services) Ltd imported it and it was registered as ZK-HQR on 21-08-1984.
Ownership changed to The Helicopter Line Ltd of Timaru on 30-11-1992 and it is seen below at Mechanics Bay on 02-12-1993.

Next in line was Stevenson Skywork Helicopters Ltd out of Warkworth from 12-02-1997 with a name change to Skywork Helicopters in 1999.
It is seen here below sidling into the fuel pump at Rangiora last Friday (the 10th) - minus any Company script.
