Discerning readers of this blog may have been sceptical that such a major manufacturer as Bombadier could have slipped another tail onto their popular Q 300 and sold it to Air New Zealand on the quiet. ( See www.nzcivair.blogspot.co.nz/2015/04/air-new-zealand-twin-tail-q-300-at.html )
However I can now reveal that it was a terminalogical inexactitude and the explanation is revealed in the above photo of Q 300 ZK-NEM taxying on the near taxiway, while Boeing 767-319ER ZK-NCI taxies along the far taxiway.
