It was pretty quiet at Ardmore this afternoon.
But these 2 Warbird's Harvards NZ 1057 (ZK-TVI) and NZ 1065 (ZK-ENF) rejoined overhead in formation before landing and positioning nicely for a photo.
And Jabiru J230 UL ZK-DIZ was bedecked by flags on the roadside outside Dennis Thompson's base. It is for sale for $95,000 and a sign proclaimed "if you buy it we will teach you to fly it".
The "Buy it and we'll teach you to fly it" has been a DT tagline for many years.
