The Tital T51 Mustang ZK-TLI (c/n M04SV6SOHK0049) was built at Campbell Aviation Co Ltd at Loburn Abbey and registered on 26-11-2009.
This was Suzuki V6 powered driving through a Autoflight reduction unit. It has a glass cockpit and an auto pilot.
It is marked up as NZ2418 in the Otago 4 Squadron Territorial Air Force scheme.
It is seen below at Ashburton on 04-02-2011.
Ownership moved to Leonard Thompson of Kerikeri on 10-02-2011.
Leonard was the former RNZAF Air Commodore General of the Defence medical Services and had flown Mustangs with the No 4 (Otago) TAF Squadron in the 1950's, including NZ2418.
It was cancelled from the NZ register on 20-09-2016 and went to Sean McBain of Castle Hill, New South Wales and became VH-MJS4 on 09-11-2016.
It was captured, below, at Bankstown, Sydney, by Dave Eyre on 27-06-2018.
