On another trip down to Wellington I was pleased to see Air Chatham's recently acquired General Dynamics Allison Convair 580 ZK-KFL (c/n 372) outside their maintenance hangar.
It has been painted with a large Chatham Island mollymawk head on the forward fuselage, and shaded feathers on the tail. The aircraft is a dedicated freighter used on internal New Zealand runs and also out to the Chathams.
And sister ship ZK-KFH (c/n 42) was in an adjacent hangar in all white, so I reckon it will be one to watch in the future.
