Aero L39 ZK-WLM
was delivered to Ardmore 17Nov and registered to the McCready Investment Trust one week later. This example arrived in NZ during early part of 2003 and was initially registered ZK-LLR with B-B Aviation of Wanaka. It changed to its current registration on 01Nov 2004 and ownership records changed to Jetflights Wanaka from Sep 2006. ZK-WLM was the first of type in NZ has since been joined by three addition L39's based at New Plymouth, Wellington and Nelson.

Just querying the comment about an L39 at Wellington - should that read Wanaka? I'd be stoked if there was one here, but haven't seen or heard anything.
I belive that the new owner of WLM did six flight in it at Wanaka and suggested to Rob that he may as well buy the thing after spending so much money.ReplyDelete

Incidently. The Albatros Ltd of Wellington's ZK-CCP flew at Wanaka on about the 16th November with Grant Bissett.
