After an overnight stay with No 2 Grandson at Te Kuiti, I headed on down to Stratford where I arrived just after the fog had lifted. It was a fabulous day!
Kerry Ryan's Sisler Cygnet UL ZK-CYG2 is now flying with its new Rotax 912 engine, and Kerry was doing some dual instruction with Wayne Richmond when I arrived.

The new Zenith Zodiac CH 601HD ZK-SRP (c.n 6-3021)is waiting for its final CAA inspection and sign-off. It is for S R Pennefather of Hawera.
Kenny Gallagher has pimped his Sonerai IILS ZK-SND with Stars and Bars and it looks great!
After a successful day of flying Jodel D9 ZK-KMM was hangared with some illustrious company - that is Gary Marsh's Supermarine Spitfire Mk 25 ZK-RGV in the background.
As expected with a brand new Rotax, it is going really well.
